Another year on the specker ski trip to Ski Amade in St Veit Pongau, great weather all week, meant we were all well sun kissed. didnt need any of the extra layers i brought or hoodies it was so warm. The snow was in great condition, the keep it well. Ok busy due to carnival in the build up to ash wednesday, but great none the less. twice we did the g-link over to the flachau, and surprisingly the flying motzarts were not as bad as in previous years, perhaps since we went over early and avoided it cutting up.
Still my favourite runs, the (M50/M25) down to Wagrain, and wide long run and easy to guide from behind, down to the Chicken Staal or Shack, and on to our favourite cafe just above the G-link station.
Special thanks to Dave and Eileen etc. for organising and to Siegi Tours (Irene, Michael, and Kirstin) for their help. Great company with the gang (even Mark who i skied with ;) ), nice music nights in theresas, and good craic all round and all back in one piece, role on 2026 only 51 weeks to go.
